Step into the strategic realm of Age of Myths, set in ancient Greece, a board game where you embody a warlord devoted to a god, driven by the ambition to conquer the world. Accumulate gold, battle formidable mythological monsters, amass armies, and overcome your adversaries to emerge victorious.

Basics of Gameplay

The gameplay unfolds during 20 rounds, with each round comprising individual player turns. For instance, in a game with 4 players, a round concludes after all 4 turns are taken.

Within a turn, players can choose 2 actions from a set of 3: spending, engaging, or gambling. The strategic decisions made during these turns can yield
significant consequences.

Moving around on the game board and attacking monsters or other players is enabled by using dices. When moving the player rolls 3 D6 dices. When attacking and defending 2 D6 dice is used per player. Attacking or defending with a hero used a D12.

How to Win

A game consist of maximum 20 rounds and there are 3 ways to win:


Be the first player to finish your mission.
Be the last player standing.
Control the most amount of tiles after 20 rounds have been played.


PLAYING A TURN

A player can choose to do 2 actions out of 3 available per round. The actions are:

Spending - Buy units or buildings, repair buildings, resurrect hero
Engaging - Move on the map, attack other players or monsters
Gambling - Try to earn additional money by answering a question

Actions are consecutive. This means that, for example, in a turn the player chooses to buy units and then attack another player, they can’t buy more soldiers after they have moved on from the spending action.
